One of the most difficult parts of managing resources is the ability to guide and motivate the resources. There are too many managers who feel that resource management is micro-management and task assignment. Then once a year tell the resource all the things they did wrong or did not do to justify the poor performance review.

Providing positive guidance and structure to expectations can go a long way!

Whilst management might have outlined clear departmental and individual goals some corporate projects could produce unexpected behavior of team members that should be monitored and compared against corporate strategy.

Timely identification and analysis of those self-evolved and policy-based organizational networks helps to make decisions such as whom to place for bid negotiations, are departments\offices doing what they ought to be doing or are their operations are reactive in nature.

Hypersoft software (www.hypersoft.com) helps to extract those links between teams and their members irrespective of media channels being used for communication (instant messages, conferences, meetings, VoIP, video, mails and so on), allowing pinpointing of business communities and community leaders, business roles and functions as well as running comparative historical and topological analysis to establish how aligned is their performance with company strategy.

Gtdagenda.com

You can use it to manage your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A Vision Wall (inspiring images attached to yor goals) is available too.
Works also on mobile, and syncs with Evernote.
