speaking The Computer Measurement Group (CMG), the IT professionals responsible for planning, measuring and managing the world’s largest IT infrastructures, announced today that it has finalized its set of Sunday workshop sessions for the 34th International Computer Measurement Group annual conference (CMG’08) taking place from December 7-12 in Las Vegas, NV at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.

CMG’08 starts on Sunday, December 7 with an entire day dedicated to focused, three hour seminars that deepen the CMG’08 experience. Sunday workshops provide additional insights into the areas of performance management for Multi-Tier applications, Websphere MQ, Java, .NET, SQL Server and Storage Area Networks. Other workshops address techniques such as capacity management using free and bundled software as well as performance issues relating to Service-Oriented and Enterprise Service Bus architectures and patterns.

Two workshops will provide essential information regarding ITIL. The workshop presenters are luminaries in their fields who, in some cases, did seminal work in their area of expertise. They will guide the workshop attendees by drawing on their extensive experiences and knowledge.
