Time is something we can never get enough of. Knowing how to make the best use of your time will allow you to become more productive and leave more time to enjoy the things you would rather be doing. Personal productivity, life hacks and “Getting Things Done” are all terms used to describe methods of becoming more productive at work, at home and in your personal life.
Following on my concept that there is always a better way to do something I give you a list of top ten web sites for personal productivity and getting things done tips.
Lifehacker
Lifehacker is a mega site for lifehacks and productivity. While not exclusively dedicated to productivity and Getting Things Done, their dedicated staff of writers turn out many quality posts per day. There is a lot of other coverage including Microsoft Windows, Mac and Linux programs and better ways to use them. Lifehacker has become one site I must visit each day.
Welcome to Lifehacker, an award-winning, daily blog that features tips, shortcuts, and downloads that help you get things done smarter and more efficiently. Lifehacker launched in January 2005, and now ranks as one of the top-linked blogs on the internet according to Technorati. The Cranking Widgets Blog offers many good articles on productivity, GTD, career guidance, lifehacks and being successful. The site was started by Brett Kelly who has since moved on and left the site in the capable hands of Andy Parkinson who has continued the theme.
Brett Kelly started The Cranking Widgets Blog in December of 2006 after reading Getting Things Done by David Allen. His newfound excitement about personal productivity was the primary reason for starting this website: a way to communicate little nuggets of wisdom and whatnot to whomever on the old Internet wanted to read them.
