By Sam Grier

So many RSS feeds, so little time. But now with NewsGator Go! you have the ability to track and manage all your RSS feeds content on your mobile device. Get news, sports, entertainment and other information delivered to your Blackberry, Java Mobile Smartphone or PDA, and Windows Mobile Smartphone or PDA. Best of all it is FREE!
Newsgator RSS For Your Smartphone

  • Get your news and information while on the go.
  • Keep your mobile in sync with all NewsGator products.
  • Email interesting articles to friends or co-workers.
  • Play streaming video and audio. (Windows Mobile only)

I am an information junkie and my fix is the web. I subscribe to many RSS feeds  so I can keep up with my favorite sites. RSS Readers are a real-time saver since they give you with snippets of posts allowing you to read what interest you and skip the rest.

At home you can enjoy the rich flavor of your favorite sites using your favorite web browser. But when you are stuck in traffic (don’t read and drive!), waiting in an office or on your break at work you can catch up with the latest news and posts using NewsGator Go on your mobile phone.

Content including articles, images and links are automatically formatted for the low-bandwidth of a mobile phone connection and screen size. You can also send articles via email or clip and save posts. With the Windows version you can even stream audio and media from your feeds. Download podcasts!

Don’t think that iPhone users have been left out! NewsGator Mobile for iPhone is now free for all users at http://m.newsgator.com and is optimized for the iPhone’s unique full-sized touch screen. The reader provides a streamlined reading experience specifically designed for the mobile user, and makes it easy to quickly access, read and mark feeds as read on the go. The simple login automatically detects the iPhone and routes the user to the iPhone reader

NewsGator has an entire lineup of free RSS feed products. FeedDemon for Windows and NetNewsWire for the Mac bring a powerful RSS reader to your desktop. NewsGator Inbox for Microsoft Outlook allows you to track and manage your RSS feeds from within Outlook. NewsGator Online allows you to access your RSS feeds from any computer. There is even a screen saver available.

Whatever platform you use all of your RSS feeds are synchronized. This means regardless of the platform you are using the RSS reader knows what you have already read and what is new.

Currently ALL versions of the Newsgator RSS readers are free. For more information and to download products visit their web site at http://www.newsgator.com/.

To get you started add the IT Managers Inbox  RSS feed.  Just click on the RSS feed button at the top of the front page to add this site.

Thanks for the link. It looks like a good desktop RSS reader.

Since this post NewGator Go for mobile phones has changed. It is now only offered to enterprise customers. They do still offer a free version for the iPhone and now the iPad called Net News Wire. It syncs with Google Reader. I have been using it for some time now. I love having a RSS news reader on my phone so I can keep up with my favorite feeds during breaks and lunch.
